I have been in Nashville, Tennessee for almost three weeks, helping my oldest daughter with the finishing of a new house and the packing of the old, and it’s nice to finally relax and sit at the computer. I can’t see anything but grass, trees, and the big pond that will one day be home to fish and ducks. I can rock on the porch and enjoy the sounds of crickets and birds, instead of sirens and horns. At night, instead of the steady noise of traffic, the frogs sing loud enough to be heard through closed doors and windows. There is a sense of peace here in the country that I will miss very much when I get back to busy, noisy, smoggy Toronto!
