From early March until the second week of April, different locations throughout southern Ontario are hosting Maple Syrup Festivals. These special events often include horse drawn wagon rides, taffy making, and lots of pancakes and maple syrup to eat. The high point of the day is your tour through the tall sugar bush, where you watch the trees being tapped and see the methods used to collect their sap.
