Chalk Lake Property For Sale

I’ve had a number of people ask me to let them know when property on Chalk Lake becomes available for sale. Here is a listing if anyone is interested. Expensive – yes. Not all properties here are this much, but this one has a lot to offer.

Let me know if you purchase it and I’ll tell my sister to say hi.

Juat to let you know, that link no longer works! Apparently the real estate agents just re-did their website. I was just going to look, no way could we buy any property back in Ontario, just wanted to windowshop.

Our cottage was just one lot away from the beach lot btw… there used to be a caretaker/guardians’ cottage on the beach lot and the family there lived on the lake year-round. The next family over from ours also lived on the lake year-round. Our place was not ‘winterized’ and we were only there from spring thaw through late fall.

Hi Anna. It seems that those properties have sold. From the looks of it, prices on the lake run at about $800,000. Expensive for sure. Right now there are two vacant lots for sale on Chalk Lake Road though.

    Hi there,
Wondering if there are any new properties for sale on Chalk Lake.
And what is the name of the road leading up to Chalk lake but south of it, looks like a dead end road.
It looks like a beautiful area in and around Chalk Lake, I will be moving into that area next year so let me know if you hear of any new listings.

      Hi Debbie,
I put a call in to my sister’s place, she is the one who lives on Chalk Lake. Apparently there is a vacant lot for sale on the lake and a very large property that is listed with Property Guys. I think that one will be fairly expensive. As for the road you mentioned, it is probably Townline Road, which runs between Lakeridge and Highway 12. This is the access route for the other side of the lake, which is all privately owned by one lady. Can’t tell you any more than that.
Good luck with your house hunt.
      Carol
