February in Sudbury

I have just come home from a visit to Sudbury, in northern Ontario. Believe it or not, the snow is so high where the plows have cleared the roads that it almost reaches the roof of a two story house. Since I am just under 5 feet tall, walking on the snow sometimes meant sinking up to my knees.

I enjoyed the snow, the sunshine, the cold (not really), and especially my new little granddaughter, Aurora. I spent my days rocking and cuddling, with little thought of my computer. But now I’m back to the pouring rain in Toronto (how much change in weather can 4 hours make).
