I haven’t written about weather for a long time, but it is constantly on my mind. My husband and I check the weather reports once or twice a day this time of year.
Why? Because if there is a blizzard, or the temperature is too far below zero, we won’t be able to get outside. My husband and I are older, so if the driving or walking is bad, or we can’t shovel our way out, we are stuck at home.
Right now the temperature at night is 20 below zero celcius and in spite of some melting, the snow drifts are a foot deep or more in some places. Other parts of Canada have a lot more snow and cold than we do, so I should be thankful we live in Ontario.
As you can tell, I am anxiously waiting for spring.
